A Break in the Heatwave

Posted on July 12, 2013 with 0 comments
In New York City the heat has been unbearable lately, which has put well-being, health, and in some cases even lives at serious risk.  But I am happy to report that there is a break in the oppressive weather.  I took advantage of the soothing, cool breeze this afternoon and took a long, lingering stroll to run some errands.  Went to the bank and also went to the post office.  It was quite pleasant!

September in June!

Posted on June 7, 2013 with 0 comments
I just froze my buns off on a short walk in my neighborhood to run an errand.  Today, it feels more like September than June.  I even wore a winter jacket to combat the chill in the air.  I returned a half hour ago and I am just now finally feeling warm.   It is bad enough that it is chilly.   But it is not only chilly but raining as well.  Rain, rain go away.  Come again some other day!

New Backing Vocalist Found!

Posted on May 25, 2013 with 0 comments
I found a new backing vocalist.  Her name is Kathryn Holtkamp.  For more information, please click "News" on this website.  Thanks.

I have started auditioning backing vocalists to join my jazz ensemble.  If you or someone you know can sing either in the soprano or mezzo-soprano range, don't hesitate to give me a call.  My number is (212) 946-1189.  The audition song is "Come Lie Down," which you can hear by clicking "Music" on this website.  My former backing vocalist cannot contunue as she has a challenging new day job.

Glorious Spring!

Yesterday afternoon I had the great pleasure of visiting The Brooklyn Botanic Garden.  What a wonderful time I had!  The tulips, daffodils, cherry blossoms, and more are in bloom right now.  Ah spring, glorious spring!
